No, no, no...I've not disappeared off the face of the Earth, just been buried knee deep in being the crazy volunteer and building my own support network of like-minded folk around me here in Deutschland. It's been an interesting few months, to say the very least...having been out of the "living in super cramped housing" loop for so long, I had forgotten how many people are certifiable crazy. I've met and discarded a few the past bit and have discovered that yes...it is possible to live pretty much drama free while living in cramped quarters with a bunch of nutters.
Note that I said pretty much...there has been more than a far share of the crap called drama dumped on my doorstep in the past 6 months. Add to that the responsibilities that I (stupidly) volunteered for with the Family Readiness Group and the pending deployment which seems to draw out the crazy in every milspouse. Well...life in Germany hasn't been perfect but hey...I'm alive.

I was beginning to think you'd gone native on us! Yeah, I can do without the drama. But living with 3 wimmin (2 pre-teens) virtually guarantees it. As does the unfortunate necessity of employment... Hey, come up for air a little more often, okay? : )
I shall make the effort Mabe...I find time to do quick bloggy skims but alas the writing is all to often sidelined by the crazy life. Fortunately winter approaches (did I just say that?) bringing stinging cold and (hopefully) snow that will force the wanderings to be curtailed! Woohoo!
I have to say that I'm glad to see that you have rejoined us, even if it's just off and on!
